BACKGROUND
A 55-year-old man presents to the hospital with sudden-onset dyspnea that occurred immediately after undergoing a barium swallow procedure. He also has chest discomfort and a cough. Physical examination findings indicate that he is well and that his vital signs are stable. Examination of his chest reveals bronchial breath sounds at the lung bases. ECG findings are normal. A chest radiograph is obtained. What is the diagnosis?
